NEW! Frilly Fondant Flowers by Cupcake Stylist

I saw this frilly flower made out of t-shirt material and thought it would make a great fondant flower.  What do you think?  Should I add it to my shop on Etsy?????

Fondant Cinco de Mayo Cake toppers by Cupcake Stylist

Happy belated Cinco de Mayo = )

I have spoken before of Tiffani and her fun cake challenges....

For this challenge, Tiffani provided me with a "Fiesta" invitation for a Cinco de Mayo birthday celebration for Jasper.  The invite held the colors "Yellow, Red, Blue, Green and Orange" and Tiffani provided the cake shape/dimension and tier information...along with some items that she wanted on the cake.  The following sketch was provided and approved ...
and the fondant Cinco de Mayo decorations were made...

One topper set that was very fun to make was for a western themed cake, complete with fondant Cowboy Boots, cowboy hats, hay bales, and bandana borders.  I must confess, the cowboy boots were something I had never attempted before, but thanks to Kathy's custom cakes (Cake Central), I found a cowboy boot pattern and was able to make these western cake themed decorations:

Yee-haa!
