Happy Thanksgiving, from the Cupcake Stylist

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I approach this day with a very thankful heart -- Creating fondant cake and cupcake toppers has opened me up to a number of people that I wouldn't have met otherwise, and I want you to know that I appreciate each and every one of you.  Thank you for allowing me the privilege of being involved in your special celebrations of life.  I LOVE what I do, and I don't take it for granted...

Following is a "Happy" card I made when I used to paint.  The inspiration was from my friends David and Melba, who sent a Christmas card in February -- it wished us a Merry Christmas, Happy New Years, Happy Valentine's Day, and a few other special occasions along the way = )  

And so, today, I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving...May you and your family be blessed today...and always!

Cupcake Stylist Fondant Topper of the Day - ants, lady bugs, and snails

There are just not enough hours in the day to do all of the things that I want to do...

I have visions of new fondant cake and cupcake decorations dancing in my head, yet my days are full of work at my day job, and fulfilling as many topper orders as I can fit into my schedule. 

I am so thankful for the opportunity that you provide me to work with you to make special toppers for you events.  I am always amazed at the amount of creativity and love that seems to just flow from you as you prepare to make your celebrations special, and I am so honored that you allow me to take part, by making your cake and cupcake decorations.

I wanted to take this opportunity to reconnect and start sharing some of the toppers I have made during the past two months of no postings.  But, instead of including them all in one post, I will REALLY try to do one a day for the next ??? days.  So please check in and see what the topper of the day is....

Today's topper is marching ants, snails and puppy dog tails...I mean ladybugs...

these giant fondant ants were 2" in length and were used to march around the perimeter of a "bug" themed birthday cake.

Here are some of the "bugs" for the cake -- there were also a couple of frogs and plenty of leaves for the bugs to feast on = )

Fondant Cake and Cupcake Toppers for All Occasions

I feel somewhat like a party planner voyer at times, because so many party and celebration details are shared with me, so that the toppers I make are exactly what you want/need to make your own cakes and cupcakes fabulous.

Welcome Summer! Fondant Mermaid Cake Topper Set by Cupcake Stylist

It is so hard to believe that summer starts today!

What better way to kick off the season that with this sweet little fondant mermaid cake topper set, for a special little girl.  Alyssa turned 11 years old and got to make her own birthday cake, BUT she didn't know she was getting fondant decorations to top her cake. Her Mom bought her some "fake" toppers and contacted me for custom toppers to go along with her swim party theme.

Alyssa's Mom brought her by to pick up her toppers and she was so excited.  The look on that little girl's face was a brilliant reminder of why I do what I do.  I LOVE being part of your celebrations -- thank you for allowing me the privilege of sharing in your special occasions
